MOON Watchers

A total lunar eclipse will occur the night of Monday, December 20th and it will be visible from our area! The penumbral begins at 9:27pm - that's a reddish glow, followed by the umbral at 10:32pm. The umbral is the beginning of the earth's shadow on the moon. The total eclipse begins just beforre midnight, at 11:40pm, and ends at 12:53am. The greatest eclipse is at 12:17am.
