We raised Painted Lady butterflies from small caterpillar to chrysalis to beautiful butterfly. We observed our caterpillars for several days and then finally they wrapped themselves in a chrysalis. We waited and waited and then our butterflies finally emerged. Cabella and Mykaia set them free during conferences. The pictures are in front of the school as they landed on the spirea bushes.
